There are many crimes that are common on college campuses or are highly associated with colleges. These campus crimes may include: Alcohol crimes and underage drinking, theft of laptops and smartphones, assault crimes of a sexual nature such as rape or stalking, crimes associated with hazing, drug crimes (possession, use, or distribution of drugs). The module will focus on the various types of campus crimes in colleges and universities as well as in the general criminal landscape in South Africa.
